Study On Newcampus Cultural Construction Of Wuhan Institute Of Technology

After the20th century, In China, more and more universitiesestablish new campus separately outside the principle campus since1990swhich have provides broader development space for the higher education,effectively make up for the lack of educational resources and have greatlyimproved the school running conditions. However, many problems areexposed in the construction of new campus; especially the campus culture ismore obvious. School facilities is not perfect, the lack of investment, weakcultural atmosphere,lack of humanistic spirit of University,,service securitysystem is not well organized, democratic and progressive atmosphere is notenough, the weakening of campus culture has raised a surreal set ofquestions,such as: seriously impede the functions of university, and crisisto the quality of talent, the efficiency of running school social services. So, asthe integration of campus deep essence, the integration of old and newuniversity campus culture has become the realistic problem urgently to besolved.This article discusses the basic theory of the new university campusculture, and provides a theoretical basis for the construction of new campusculture. In the course of the new campus of Wuhan Institute of Technology,the development status and significance as the starting point, expounds theestablished process of Liufang new campus, present situation of development,and the significance of the construction of new campus of Wuhan Institute ofTechnology, analysis. Then based on the new campus of Wuhan Institute ofTechnology with new and old campus graduates and teachers in the school tocarry on the questionnaire survey, the200students were chosen as theresearch object, carries on the questionnaire in many ways of the culture, at the same time, some students were non-structural interview in order to havethe comparative study of campus culture in new and old campus. The last isthe analysis of the results of the questionnaire, this paper based on analyzingthe reality of feedback information is extracted, the new campus in the futureabout the treatment of the old and new campus culture relations, along withhow to carry forward the characteristic of new campus culture.Although development of this paper mainly based on perceptualmaterials what come from certain number of students’ questionnaire andinterview. As predecessors say, personal experience and knowledge is actuallyderived ‘we’ living in the communities and groups. At this point,in this paper,the author hope propose some measures to solve the problem and develop theeffective actions accordance with the actual case by true feelings andopinions of principal university to constructing a harmonious and sustainabledeveloped environment together.
