In April20,2013, a7.0degree earthquake had token place in Ya’an,Lushan,Sichuanprovince.The tragedy brought the citizens there not the damages of hometown but the hurt inthe heart. The children, since their mental particularities, had showed more drastic andcomplicated mental psychological reactions than the adults in front of the huge disaster.Nowadays, heaps of the researching of children mental console post quake has been launchedand achieved more attentions, but most of which are from the aspect of psycholigy andmedicine and then directly descrivbed it as a metal obstacle after a disaster so that treated thekids as a group that needed therapy. Obviously, this kind of treatment could only give an goodconsequence from a few children that has serious psycholigical problem and is not suitable formore kids in the post quake district. From the perspective of Social work, the key point shouldbase on the dominant aspect theory, pay attention to the devolopment of children’s ownpotentials and the recovery of their phisiology to psychology to social features, reconstruct themental health via the aspect of sociology, in spicific, the positive belief of self-redemption sothat one could benefit the other. Thus, the Social work acts an irreplaceable role in thepsychological evaluation, asistance, restoration and reconstruction. In the big three helpingmethods of Social work, casework counseling and group work is noticed as the most widelyused method. The group word paies more attention to influence the member through theenvironment of group, finds the potential of member and improve the question-solve abilityvia the contaction, sharence and endorsement between each other. So we chose the groupwork method to give the psychological comfort to the post quake children.First of all, in this study, we ensure the understanding of the relevant contents of thepost-disaster psychological comfort as well as a concrete manifestation of post-disasterpsychological plight of children through literature review, And through interviews withchildren and their relatives, learnt about the psychological difficulties currently faced bychildren in Lushan’s earthquake zone, and divided them as three aspects of behavior, cognitiveand emotional performance. Secondly, this study through field surveys, learned other methodscurrently used for Lushan earthquake children’s psychological comfort, sum up the rescueprocess and its effects outlined to illustrate the advantages of group work in this field; Third,this study relies on researcher that resides in Zhong Ba Children’s park service stations, carryout group work-site intervention with the post earthquake children’s psychological comfort in Lushan earthquake zone, include the group discussed in the preparatory phase of the systemand the recruiting of members, the goal of the design team programs; The formation of thefirst case of the initial group meeting, group norms; how to carry out an professionalpsychosocial game in the middle of the work, so that the crew could continuesly tap their ownpotential; how to dissolve the final team; and self-evaluation of team members work on theeffect of the whole group in the final assessment by the researcher. As while discussed indetail of the working techniques and methods applied in the various stages, showing acomplete group work process.. Finally, the researchers attempted to form an operating modethat used in post-disaster psychological comfort of the group of children from this practice topromote post-disaster psychological comfort, particularly in the complement of childrenpsychological comfort theory, in another word, construct a practical framework used inpost-disaster psychological comfort for reference, and ponder the difficulties encountered ingroup practice.
