China is a country with many disasters, it’s not only the lost of relatives and material butalso huge psychological trauma for people. For children who have not built the psychologicaldefense mechanism, they are under the pressure of life crisis, family apart and people die. Ifnot carefully guided and under the psychological interpose from outside world, they canhardly get rid of nightmare in a short time and return to the normal psychological condition.So it’s not only a necessity but an urgency to conduct crisis interpose and psychologicalassistance for the post-disaster children. History experiences shows that during the process toassist post-disaster children, social workers can make use of their professional advantages andeffectively bonded social resources so as to help dealing with children psychological problem,rebuilding social support network and promoting the ability to survive and develop, so theyare a necessary professional power during the process of after disaster rebuild. But socialwork started late in our country, so it has a low recognition in society. No matter theory orpractice, the domestic social work is still being the period of grope so that during the period ofrescue after earthquake and disaster social workers have no enough experience.This research is to explore the current domestic social work’s model method and contentduring the time to interpose after disaster’s assistance, summarize some problems needed toimprove during the after disaster children’s social work and try to propose somecountermeasure. Research based on empirical research and supplemented by theoreticalstudies. Theoretical study mainly carried out by the literature inspection and the empiricalstudy is mainly by participating in post-Lushan earthquake children’ assistance, social workaiming at the disaster area children’s assistance, interpose, surveys and interviews to get theresearch data.Based on combing and analyzing the concerning research data, the author combine theseveral months’ practice work in Lushan earthquake area with the assistant service forpost-disaster children and the interview surveys in communities, the author has a certainrecognition and understand for the social work of interpose in post-Lushan earthquakechildren.Firstly, from the point of view of post-disaster children faced problems that mainly hasthe following several aspects: growth environment is destroyed, such as family, school wasdamaged; Psychological disorders, such as lack of security, mood, emotional numbness, suicide, etc.; Behavior aspects problems, such as communication difficulties, aggression,degradation behavior and adaptation to the environment, etc. In groups of children of differentages, present a different problem. Secondly, for post-disaster children patterns and methods ofthe social work intervention: Look from the intervention model, social work mainly rely onrelevant government department’s lead and coordinate directly, through the cooperation ofuniversities and civil service organizations in the form of intervention services both at homeand abroad. Intervention methods are mainly including case work method(contains the moodinterpose, cognitive counseling, play therapy and reconstruction of social supportsystem)group work method (peer groups and parents with children’s team) and communitywork methods; The third one are some problems facing with the domestic post-disasterchildren’s social work interpose, which include: Social recognition, profession, organizationand system. The last one is by analyzing the above content and aiming at the facing problemsduring the interpose process, this article will give some suggestions from the followingaspects: strength the professional social work construction, set up concerning administrativeservice institution and coordinate platform, strengthen the concerning institutionalconstruction.
