As part of China’s vocational education system,secondary vocational education plays animportant part in our national education system. Vocational students as an important part ofnational modernization builders,their own level of quality directly affect the overall qualitylevel of our citizens. Therefore,both the need to strengthen the vocational thinking of China’ssocialist modernization and political education of students,but also the requirements of themajority of the student’s family,while the vocational students’ personal growth and success alsohas positive significance. New Era vocational students ideological conditions have many newproblems,but also the ideological and political education in vocational schools work presentsnew challenges. Affected by various factors,vocational students than their peers with moreconfusion and problems.In this paper,vocational students ideological and political educationtheory as the theoretical basis,combined with Nanjing Communication Secondery SpecializedSchool,Nanjing Engineering Vocational College,Nanjing Jinling Secondary VocationalSchool,Nanjing Mechanical Vocationa School and Nanjing Mochou Vocational School,students’ideological and political education investigation to explore the moral status of the majority ofvocational school students’ ideas and problems,combined with analysis of the causes of theproblem,to strengthen ideological and political education of vocational students work presentsspecific countermeasures and suggestions.Through the questionnaire analysis found that there are some universal problems of moralstatus of vocational students thought,mainly for political beliefs apathy,lack of respect for theideal,motivation is not strong,weak-willed individuals,legal sense of apathy,personalaccomplishment is not high,the lack of the concept of integrity and other issues. Such statusquo causes are many,both external causes of the social environment,family education andschool education reasons reasons,there are also vocational schools students in their ownpersonal reasons. Solve problems that currently exist in vocational schools students’ politicalsituation is a concern for the needs of society in all aspects of systems engineering: First,thegovernment should enhance the sense of responsibility,social mobilization to create a favorablegrowth of vocational students social environment; Second to improve social and employmentmechanism,providing favorable conditions for successful vocational students taught;Third,vocational schools should change their idea of educating people to raise awareness ofthe importance of strengthening students’ understanding of the ideological and politicaleducation; Fourth,to actively promote the teaching process moral education curriculum reformand improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching moral character; fifth,to dig campus"hidden" resources,develop new channels and moral education of students; Sixth,families ofstudents to establish a correct outlook on education and talent concept,by parents correctguidance to help students establish good moral qualities.
