The safety problems of left behind student at rural secondary vocational school isaccompanied with process of urbanization and transfer of rural labor, which is aparticular phenomenon. Because of household registration system and dual economysystem between town and country in China.The safety problems of left behindstudent at rural secondary vocational school in Henan province, which has morerepresentative. In this study, research object is the left behind student at ruralsecondary vocational school in Henan, based on theories of education, sociology,psychology, make interview and investigation, analysis safety problems of left behindstudent at rural secondary vocational school, explore more deeper reason on safetyproblems for left behind student, find some solution and strategies for left behindstudent at rural secondary vocational school about safety problems.According to empirical investigation,we found that safety problems mainlyfocus on personal safety, psychological safety, traffic safety, campus safety, networksafety, food safety etc. for left behind student at rural secondary vocational school inHenan Province. And some safety problems which result in truancy, games addiction,dropping out of school, drowning, fires, accidents, robbery, murder etc. The surveyfound that left behind student have problems on psychology leading in self-esteem,anxiety, sensitive, impulsive, and other symptoms, In conclusion, these safetyproblems boil down to lack of safety awareness and self-protection ability.Given safety situation of left behind student at rural secondary vocational school,this article analyzes the causes which consist of root causes, direct causes, andimportant causes. As a result, the causes include not only left behind student’sphysical and mental subjective factors, but also both family, society, economy, schoolsand many other factors. So, this study put forward some countermeasures andsuggestions to preventing and solving safety problems of left behind student at ruralsecondary vocational school.
