Current Situation And Countermeasures Of College Graduates Employment Issues

Employment is vital to people’s livelihood, and it is directly related to the interestsof the people and social stability. The problem of employment has been the focus forthe whole society, thus we choose the college graduates as the main research sampleamong them. Based on the perspective of the college graduates’ current employment,it is clearly seen that the employment situation is increasingly grim since theexpansion of college enrollment and the development of social economy. Since1999,the number of the college graduates is sharply increasing, from the number of3,380,000in2005to the number of6,690,000in2013, for the forthcoming2014which is called ‘the hardest employment year’, the number of the college graduatesamounts to7,270,000. The stress of the college graduates employment has been corefor the whole society, and it raises a new challenge to the harmonious society.Based on the phenomenon of college graduates from HeXi District, Tianjin city asthe starting point, and makes an in-depth analysis on the current employment situation,the article studies on how to perfect the settings and courses, change employmentviewpoints and broaden employment channel, in order to promote the collegegraduates’ employment of HeXi District. Since1994, the government of HeXiDistrict has been trying to find an efficient way to solve the college graduates’employment. They recruited talented college graduates to work for them which hasaltered the ageing less-educated working conditions. Afterwards they recruitedtalented college graduates many times for the grass-roots government. For the practiceof20years, they gradually made an exploration to solve the college graduates’employment of HeXi District. In response to the call of employment promotion, theyestablish and carry out strategies of economic development that put the college graduates employment first, provide related training and loans that help more collegegraduates make new career plans and create new jobs.The problem of college graduates employment is an international issue, it cannotbe solved by a district or a county government or just a simple measure. It may berelieved to some extent. As a staff of social human-resources department, we willinnovate patterns of talents cultivation, perfect the settings of subjects and courses andstrengthen and improve college graduates employment guiding work and cultivategraduates’ viewpoint of employment and enterprising spirits so as to achieve theemployment-oriented goal.
