Cultural Aware Of Traditional Village From The Angle Of Covered Bridge Protection

In the context of globalization, the traditional culture, especially the conservation andheritage of "non-material cultural heritage"，relates to the revival of national culture,development of socio-economic, reconstruction of social moral，return of traditionalvalues, maintenance of national identity, owning a strong sense of mission and urgency.All of these requires entire Chinese nation have a cultural consciousness.At present, the cultural self-consciousness of academics has become increasinglyprominent. At the same time, the point view that lack of culture self-conscious intraditional village still exists. In order to understand the cultural consciousness and itssignificance, researching on the protection on the wood arch covered bridge and otherforms of covered bridge—-the intangible heritage in Xian Village, Shouning County bythe field research of anthroposociology, in-depth interview, documentary research,questionnaire survey, historical analysis, this paper analyses human connotation, culture,protection of Xian village. The results show that:1.In traditional village, the ancient covered bridge of long history is the place wherevillagers walk and communicate together. The covered bridge is full of village culture andChinese traditional culture and own the function of the transmission of traditional culture,traditional village cohesion. So the protection of covered bridge is the consciouslyprotection of culture.2.Traditional villagers have cultural aware on the village culture that can guarantee theirnormal life.3.Basing on the background of globalization and the period of people confusing in city,traditional cultural aware has the significance of moral regression.This research is going under the innovation by the guidance of anthroposociology in thefield of theory and research. There is little research on cultural aware, especially seldomon traditional cultural aware. Writer hopes the paper can expand the space of culture aware and help government listen the opinion of villager when explore traditional village, bringvillager in the system of village protection, make the village become sustainabledevelopment.
