The Cone Theory On "Four Subjects" Of The Ideological And Political Education

Ideological and political education is a kind of practical activity. Leaders, parents,teachers and media men are the main subjects of social practice,so they also must bethe main subjects of ideological and political education.Known as "lattice model",the structural model of leaders, parents, teachers and media men, in colloquial usage,usually means "one center and several basic points". Leaders are the center.Parents,teachers, and the media men are three basic points of cone structure,must be subordinated to the will of the state.Cone structure of ideological andpolitical education’s four subjects has functions of cognition, method andconstructing.In order to effectively implement ideological and political education, weneed to build an collaborative linkage mechanism "the leaders as thecenter, parents, teachers and media men as basic points".The reasons of the collaborative linkage mechanism’s imbalance of ideological andpolitical education ‘s four subjects are as follows.Firstly, poor communication leadsto mass political apathy, or due to the theoretical level and poor methods fortransmitting political information, it arises the mass immunity. Secondly, familyeducation methods and goals are improper.Thirdly,teachers expect for quick successand instant benefit. Fourthly, as a result of interest drive, media men make falsereports and mass-produces “cultural fast-food”of all sorts and types. So theydamages indigenous cultures. Fifthly,educatees has weakening control, with the lackof thinking power of conformity, dropping social perception, seeking forentertainment,imitating violence,chaotic values,etc.Sixthly,it lacks an overallconsciousness.Through analyzing those reasons of imbalance of the collaborative linkagemechanism of ideological and political education of "four subjects",we can find outthese specific ways to improve ideological and political education.First of all, wemust solve problems of every subject, such as making leaders to be independent,rational and wise "political men", enriching contents and methods of leader’s politicalmessage, promoting socialist core values; changing the concepts of parental education,conducting seminar, parent-child activities; shifting teachers’ moral education idea,reforming old teaching methods; strengthening media men’s self-discipline, establishing an independent media watchdog group. For another, leaders, parents,teachers and media men should cooperate with each other.Finally, in order to ensurewhole function of the collaborative linkage mechanism of the ideological andpolitical education "four subjects",it should follow the people-oriented principle,objective principle, adjustability and comprehensive principle.Leaders, parents,teachers and media men must understand each other,tolerate each other, and create agood atmosphere together.The key is to promote the construction of environmentalculture, optimize the environment of ideological and political education.Theconstruction of environmental culture must adhere to the people-orientedprinciple,with an emphasis on the education of leadership.We also optimize theenvironment of family,school,surrounding communities and the media.So we cancreate a good atmosphere of public opinion.
