Due to several uniqueregional characteristics in the Jiarong Cangzhai tribes, the significant representativemeanings to the traditional settlement research should not be neglected.According to relevant information collected in the related areas, the types ofsettlements are divided, which is the cornerstone to find that the combined effects offundamentals and emerging factors lead Jiarong Tibetan settlements develop an uniquemorphology gradually. Among the different settlements, multifarious range of factorsbring up the diverse forms of settlements; a common “spirit” among different clusters issought though studying of intense space identity by the accumulated culture and socialconsciousness in Tibetan history.In the study of the composition of the settlements, trying to find a settlement of thebasic unit and Patterns, combining the traditional settlement of positive and negativespace research, studying the development and advancement of the Traditional settlementpattern and the inherent nature of the intention, and discussing the traditional settlementpattern of reconstruction process imagery, provide a theoretical basis for the laterdevelopment of settlements in this region.By studying the morphology of the region’s latest developments and changes in thesettlement, attempting to build a traditional settlement development model with thereference value, affecting the updating and development of settlement from its’ internalpattern, and reducing the negative impact of this intervention, provide theoretical basisfor the updating and development of this traditional settlement areas as a mean of " induce internal forces’. Fortunately, local government and related agencies have beentrying to analyze problems from multiple perspectives, proposing solutions, strategies andpolicies. However, it is imperative to regulate and promote the settlement by “internalforce”, which ensures that the contradiction between modern and tradition can be solvedfundamentally. Therefore, local government tries to moderate industrial developmentmodel in Jiarong Tibetan, especially make appropriate industrial development model onthe exploration of local tourism resources, in order to make better use of its settlementresources and the development of the local economy.
