Present Status And Countermeasures Research Of "Double-Quality" Teaching Staff Building In Higher Vocational College

The development of national economy put forward a higher requirement on thelevel of talent cultivation, employment standards is improved in enterprises andinstitutions. As China’s demographic dividend gradually reduces, each employer is inurgent need of the applied talents with highly vocational skills. As China’s reform andopening-up has entered a new period, the cultivation for high-skilled applied talents isfaced with new situation, circumstances and problems，and the function that teachersperform in education is becoming more and more significant. To build high-qualityand high-level double quality teaching staff is an important guarantee of therealization of qualified and applied talents with highly vocational skills. However,from the analysis of the present situation, there are still a lot of difficult problems tobe solved in the process of the construction of double quality teaching staff in highervocational colleges.Taking the construction of double quality teaching staff as a study, this articleaims to review the development and analyze the present situation of it, contributing tothe further accumulation of the experience in institutional improvement, the analysisof the cultivation mechanism and practice situations of double quality teaching staff.This article discusses the strategy of the sustainable development of double qualityteaching staff. Based on the questions of what kind of double quality teaching staffshould higher vocational education build and how to built it, taking Tianjin MaritimeCollege for an example and after analyzing the problems and difficulties of theconstruction of double quality teaching staff in this college, this article takes thefeatures of navigational education into consideration and searches for an effectiveway to establish a high-level navigation professional teaching staff and developfirst-rate navigational higher vocational education. It also puts forward suggestionsfor higher vocational colleges as to how to build double quality teaching staff. Itcarries out the study of how to offer better services for Tianjin marine economy, howto conduct port economic construction, how to further improve the maritimeeducation quality in Tianjin, how to guarantee the talents cultivation for the shippingindustry development in Tianjin and the solutions of some existing difficult problems.
