In ourcountry,though a “exotic”, voluntary service promote socialism spiritual civilization andharmonious society plays an important role with the development of the socialism marketeconomy, by the whole society increasingly concern and attention.With voluntary, unpaid,practical, organizational and aged of college students volunteer service,has been nationaldevelopment,and gradually move towards scale, normalization and organization.Universitystudents,as the nation’s hope and the main force of social development, occupy to adominant position in voluntary service,therefore research the college student volunteerservice,propose the way to advance college students volunteer service has an important practicalsignificance.The student volunteer is the main line in this article,through the literature research introduceconception of volunteer service, summed up the student volunteer service characteristics andimportant areas of activity, home and abroad volunteer service and history of student volunteerservice.Using the develop of student volunteer service questionnaire for empirical research,bystatistics and analysis of the data,understanding detailly the status of today’s college studentsvolunteer service，summed student volunteer service shortcomings, propose specific solutions tothe problem.Through research,the problem of college students volunteer service is low social awareness,the lack of legislative protection and social support, lack of volunteerism in theuniversity,evaluate and incentive mechanism is not perfect,formal serious,contents single,voluntary organizations lack the professional skills training, in short supply of funding,andcollege students volunteer lack of a correct understanding of the volunteer service, utilitarianismseverely.We can do from these aspects to solve these problems: promote and publicize volunteerculture;expansion and innovation activity patterns;strengthen the overall quality and professionalskills development of university students;national legislation of volunteerism as soon aspossible,use social resources to solve the ploblem of outplay shortage;complete the evaluate andincentive mechanism of college student volunteer service。...
