Study On The Long-term Mechanism Of College Counselors’ Professional And Specialized Construction

College counselors play an important part in Chinese educational business. They not only shoulder the responsibility of cultivating college students, but also contribute to research of educational theories. We should also have a thorough recognition of the shortage in the construction of college counselors, especially problems in professional and specialized construction, which have greatly influenced the improvement of construction level of college counselors’ professionalism and specialization, when we feel delighted for the important parts college counselors has played.Firstly, the selected topic’s relative theories and practical significance were studied. On this basis, this paper made a systematic analysis on the present statistics as well as views of scholars from home and abroad.Secondly, the paper learned the relative concepts and theories about professional and specialized construction of college counselors thoroughly, and analyzed the theories of college counselors’ professionalism and specialization. These theories cover from the connotation of Professional Ability Standards of College Counselors(Interim) to the objects of college counselors’ professionalism and specialization. Thirdly, after analyzing the present situation, this paper combined the analyzed results with practical data about construction of college counselors’ professionalism and specialization in Liaoning province and found concrete reasons for problems existing in the construction of college counselors’ professionalism and specialization. Finally, according to the existing problems, the paper put forward countermeasures which include clarifying the requirements of college counselors’ abilities, cultivating their professional identities, and improving training system of college counselors as well as building equal evaluating rules of college counselors. Moreover, the proposal of this research will help to provide a new version for the construction of college counselors’ professionalism and specialization, and contribute to the construction of college counselors’ professionalism and specialization.
