Objective:To investigate the effects of 12 weeks’"walking for heart in the summer" between 55-80 years of age in the elderly blood pressure, blood fat, arteriosclerosis and heart function.Method:the experimental method, a total of 30 elderly persons, were randomly divided into experimental group and control group each 15, the experimental group was "walking for heart in the summer" work guidance and 12 weeks practice. The related indexes about blood pressure, blood lipid, hardening of the arteries and heart function were tested before and after the experiment between the two groups.Results:(1) there was significant difference before and after the experiment, the experimental group blood pressure, pulse, and the pulse pressure increased; four blood lipids significantly, decreased total cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein increased; the cardiac output, stroke volume and systolic (diastolic) in blood volume index were significant differences, and the blood volume and cardiac output were improved in a certain extent. (2) after the experiment, compared with the control group, there was significant difference between the experimental group and the bilateral brachial ankle pulse wave velocity and ankle brachial index before and after the experiment, and the experimental group in the bilateral brachial ankle pulse wave velocity values decreased. Conclusion:the 12 weeks"walking for heart in the summer" exercise can effectively regulate the blood lipid in the elderly, to reduce the risk of atherosclerotic disease risk, and can improve the heart function in the elderly.
