Study On Relevancy Of Applied Undergraduate Tourism Education And Tourism Employment

China’s tourism industry is in the steady and increasing stage of vigorous development, applied tourism undergraduate colleges and universities have become the main force of tourism talents supply, however, the survey shows the nation’s major undergraduate specialty, tourism management undergraduate major and work related degree is lower.Moreover,it is one of the national low employment rate undergraduate majors,so association of both employment in the tourism industry and the major of tourism management education are paid more attention. This article studies the issue of education and employment related issues in the field of tourism research from the perspective of education pedagogy and supply and demand of education in economics, objectively analyze tourism education on the force in this industry in employment in the background of new-normal economic and the trend of implementation of law of tourism for the gradually standardized tourism industry, and with the rapid development of the Internet,tourism education and the employment face more opportunities and challenges.In the thesis,this study is based on the overall statistical data about undergraduates flow released by the applied tourism universities. And having structural interviews with Students at the school, graduates, and staff in or off hotel, management personnel of the hotels and users of tourism management major whose questions and answers on the Internet community are summarized by text analysis in the way of the qualitative research method of grounded theory for studying on the China’s applied tourism education,which is mainly on how to influence the employment and influence degree of finding job in the industry, such as compared with the family social relations of graduates and differences of tourism industry regional development of and other relevant factors,on the basis of those, summed up the relenvance characteristics of tourism education on the industry employment, try to be objective reflection on the applied tourism undergraduate education of our country and imbalance problems of employment in the tourism industry,finding out the factors that restricting the applied tourism undergraduate education in China and strong connection on employment in the tourism industry,in order to improve and provide the objective basis for China’s applied tourism undergraduate education and the relation with tourism industry.Then, for the sake of enhancing the applied tourism undergraduate education in our country and the employment of the tourism industry association, puts forward suggestions respectively from the government and the society, the school and the tourism enterprises, the students themselves.we hope this study can have some reference value to the application of our country’s reform of Tourism Undergraduate Education in personnel positioning and the depth of cooperation between school and enterprises and other aspects of the research on employment problems in the tourism industry.
