The 13 th five-year plan is the golden opportunity and the key period of accelerating the development of tourism,and the construction of tourism colleges and the cultivation of tourism talents becomes a hot topic.As an international tourist island,Hainan Island has attracted a lot of attention.Taking Hainan University as an typical example of Hainan,this paper carries on the questionnaire survey and the depth interview among the undergraduate students of the Tourism School,analyzes the present situation and the characteristic of the tourism undergraduate cultivation,and seeks the solution to improve the employment intention.Based on Social Cognitive Career Theory,we have drawed the scale of three variables,namely,college,learning,professional cognition and intention.Through descriptive statistics analysis,reliability analysis,factor analysis and structural equation model,the following conclusions about the relationship of the three variables are drawn:(1)the university learning variable has a very significant impact on the capability efficacy variable;(2)the university learning variable has a very significant impact on the affective efficacy variable;(3)the university learning variable has a very significant impact on outcome expectancy variable;(4)the affective efficacy variable has a very significant impact on employment intention variable;(5)the affective efficacy variable has a very significant impact on employment intention variable;(6)while togehter with other variables of the professional cognition especially the affective efficacy variable,the affective capability variable has a significant impact on employment intention variable.In addition,this paper variance analysis of the gender,grade and major of the undergraduates majoring in tourism to observe the different comments on the main variables.The solutios are drawn as follows:(1)the cultivation of the affective efficacy is the key to improve the employment intention;(2)to improve the employment intention,it is advised to be based on the difference of the gender;(3)to improve the employment intention,it is advised to be based on the difference of the grade;(4)to improve the employment intention,it is advised to be based on the difference of the major.For tourism colleges of Hainan University,the following specific actions are advised:(1)the "2+2" education mode which combines general education and individualized education can be promoted;(2)for boys,the two-way interaction between teachers and students are advised based on Constructivism,for girls,the authority can be invited to communicate with the school to help girls establish a correct understanding and professional employment expectations;(3)for freshman,adaption is the key for senior,on the one hand,the cooperation between school and enterprise should be deepen in order to increase employment channels,on the other hand,a social platform for tourism education can be build to share information;(4)for different majors,the weak links need more attention and actions.
