Objective:The purpose of this survey is to explore the present situation of medical students’ subjective well-being, social support and psychological capital. To investigate the psychological capital, the social support of medical students on subjective well-being.Make the strategy to enhance the medical students’ subjective well-being.Provides theoretical basis and the reference data to medical college mental health intervention.Methods:1. Stratified cluster sampling combined with the survey methodology; Select 2500 medical graduates from Anhui Medical University, BengBu Medical College and WanNan Medical College in Anhui province who are surveyed anonymously (2368 valid questionnaires). Survey tools include:General questionnaire, Positive psychological capital questionnaire, Social support rating scale and SPSS17.0 which is used as data analyzing software.2.Forty-five medical students were selected in this study, and they were interviewed with the method of semistructured interview. Then the data were processed with the phenomenological research method.Results:1.GWB of the medical students was significantly higher than that the national norm.The difference in GWB was significant among students from different residences and being the only-child or not, but not between different genders. Happiness levels of town students higher than rural,non only child students sense of happiness higher than the only child.2.Psychological capital and social support is generally good for medical students. The difference in GWB was significant among students from different genders and different residences.3.The subjective well-being of medical students was positive related to psychological capital and social support. Psychological capital and social support could significantly forecast the students’subjective well-being. Psychological capital plays a part intermediary role between social support and subjective well-being.4.The interview showed that the influence factors of subjective well-being of medical college students are psychological capital and social support, learning, employment, interpersonal interaction, school management, family factors.Conclusion:1.Gender, students, only child, grade, learning, employment, management of the school, the family factors have different effects on subjective well-being of medical students’ subjective well-being level is normal.2.Psychological capital and social support are the influence factors of subjective well-being. Psychological capital is the intermediary variable of medical students’social support and subjective well-being, social support and subjective well-being through indirect effects of psychological capital.3. According to the actual situation of school students in different grade medical, the school should take effective measures to solve the psychological problems of students, improve their subjective sense of happiness. Parents should do a good job of family education, especially the one-child families should pay more attention to the psychological status of children, timely solve the psychological problems of children.
