In recent years, as the process of reform and opening-up policy is speeding up increasingly, our market economy develops fast, and meanwhile, the communications between China and foreign countries become more and more frequent. Under this new circumstance, there is a new tendency showing up in the ideological and political education of college students, which comes with opportunities and challenges. How to follow the step of era and keep pace with time, how to integrate the method of our college students’ ideological and political education by learning successful experiences from foreign countries is an important task for further strengthening and improving the education of college student’s ideological and political. Although there are fundamental differences between China and America in social political system and cultural background, universities in America also have something valuable for us to learn in this area. Through compare the different methods between two countries and summarize America’s successful experiences, inheriting and carrying forward our outstanding ideological and political education methods completely, absorbing and adopting valuable points of America’s, we can apply it into our systems efficiently. It will help us complete the system of ideological and political education, improving the affection of our college students’ ideological and political education.Guided by Max Theory, this thesis makes full use of the relevant principles of ideological and political methods, in order to analyze and compare the methods between China and America, it takes a method of comparative. The whole thesis five parts:ⅠIntroduction. This section mainly including: propose issues and research significance, summary of Chinese and America college student’s ideological and political methods, and study methods and innovation methods of this paper.Ⅱ The expoundation about the method of ideological and political education of college students. This section clarify the reference concepts about methods, ideological and political education methods, and the college students’ ideological and political methods, and on this basis analysis the characteristic and role of college students’ ideological and political.Ⅲ The main methods of ideological and political education in China and America. This section summarize the main methods of college students’ ideological and political education after carefully reading the literature materials.Ⅳ The analysis of differences and reasons about methods of ideological and political education in China and America. This section tease out the similarities and difference between the two counties of ideological and political education, and discuss the different reasons which affect the China and America college student’s ideological and political methods from different values, economic basis and methodological basis.Ⅴ The experiences that China universities learn from America. This section expand the discussion from three parts, which are strengthen the effort of recessive ideological and political education methods, pursue the artistic of ideological and political education methods and achieve the innovation of ideological and political education methods. Aiming at innovate and improve the methods of ideological and political education, and making ours’ methodology system of ideological and political education become more scientific and perfect.
