The Comparison And Reference Of College Students' Ideological And Political Education Methods Between China And America

Since the founding of the nation,especially the application of the reform and opening up,Ideological and political education in China has made remarkable achievements,the construction of the Ideological and political education itself has become perfect increasingly and has improved obviously.However,due to the changes of The Times,the politics,economy and culture in China all present new characteristics.In this context,Ideological and political education in college and universities also presents some new trends and characteristics.As the younger generation of socialism construction,college students can promote the social progress,and cultivate the development of the society as a core force.Therefore,it is necessary to perform well in the field of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Ideological and political education method,which delivers education goals and content should be given more weight.China is the largest developing country,while the United State is the largest developed country.Both countries attach great importance to education and communicate frequently.Ideological and political education in China and moral education in America occupy an important position.Although China and America are quite different in historical and cultural background with various Ideological and political education methods used,all the methods adopted by the two countries have their own characteristics and research value.From a comparative perspective,we make a comparative analysis on college students' ideological and political education method between China and America.Firstly,in interpretation of the relevant concepts and theoretical basis,we summarize some methods that used by colleges and universities in China and in the US.Secondly,It discusses the same methods that are used by both of the country,such as classroom teaching,practice education,and mental adjustment.Besides,the different methods that are used by colleges and universities in China and America,such as obvious curriculum and hidden curriculum,inculcation education and infiltration education are also mentioned.Next,we should stick to the tradition methods in our country.Meanwhile,we can learn from some beneficial methods in the US,such as hidden curriculum,infiltration education.Finally,all the advice that I have given is to better improve and strengthen the ideological and political education of college students in China.
