With the quickly process of reform and open and the deep degree of economicglobalization. College students face deeply the dual influences of international anddomestic environment. Their thought and behavior has diversified developmentsituation. This makes our country college ideological and political education face aserious challenge. Therefore, we need to innovate the ideological and politicaleducation method. Learning from other countries college students’ ideological andpolitical education experience and improving the method of college ideological andpolitical education in China is not only a new research area of the ideological andpolitical education, but also has practical significance. Because the two countries ofChina and America are different in social systems and traditional cultural so the twocountries university students’ political education implementation method have its owncharacteristics,existing background and the value. Through comparing the twocountries’ ideological and political education implementation method, we can notonly know the same and different aspect of ideological and political education andtheir experience and problems under the different social system, but also absorbe andreference their good method critically. It can make the implement method of collegeideological and political education in China develop to the direction of integration andsocialization and modern.This article combs the similarities and differences of the ideological and politicaleducation implementation method of the two countries and summarizes theexperience and problems of their respective, Put forward the inspiration to China ofthe comparison results of the two countries based on the depth analysis of theexperience and problems. The paper is divided into five parts:The first part, the paper introduces the selection of subject background,significance, scholars at home and abroad to study the issue, the main innovation points and the use of research methods.The second part, the paper introduces the general situation of the two countries’ideological and political education implementation methods, especially emphasizesthe meaning and type of college ideological and political education implementationmethod.The third part, the paper introduces the common and heterosexual of theimplementation method of ideological and political education in China and America.The same place is mainly for lectures, extracurricular activities and the constructionof campus culture. The different place is mainly for teaching Method, religiousconnection and the diversity of subject.The fourth part, the paper introduces concretely experience and problems ofideological and political education in Chinese and American universities and theirreasons.The fifth part, the paper introduces the inspiration to China of the comparisonresults of the two countries. We should study American beneficial experience. In theideological and political education implementation method, we should pay attentionto college students’ Subjectivity, practical, directing sex and permeability so as toinnovate and improve our country’s university ideological and political educationimplementation method.
