Middle school students are in a critical period of self-identity development, when they are facing important changes of physiology, psychology and environment. However, in teaching practice, learning is one-sided understanding for entrance qualification and employment conditions, heavy academic tasks and the resulting academic pressures squeezed the development of middle school students’ self-identity. The students’ physical and mental development get off right track will cause the academic pressures, which leads to the conflict between the academic pressures and self-identity development, and bring out the physical and mental development problems. However, academic pressures eventually leads to student’s physical and mental development issues, which needs some kind of psychological mechanism that go through the individual. The research thinks what is needed is middle school students academic stress susceptibility.This research puts forward the concepts for middle school students academic stress susceptibility, a few basic ideas as follows : First, stress susceptibility adaptive features is formed by the interaction of endogenous personality traits and the external environment, which is the phenotype of personality traits, including the habits, attitudes, skills, roles and relationships, etc. Second, academic pressure is adolescent students(12-18) easily affected by the academic pressure which causes psychological and behavior characteristics of maladjustment. Third,the structure and function of middle school students academic stress susceptibility are influenced by academic stress, the ego identity development and personality traits.On the basis of literature review, this study combines with the content of the open questionnaire analysis, constructs the theoretical dimension of middle school students academic stress susceptibility. And then through a series of project analysis of factor analysis establish the middle school students academic stress susceptibility questionnaire formally, and has carried on the test reliability and validity of this questionnaire and confirmatory factor analysis. Also using middle school students academic stress susceptibility questionnaire inspect the status and characteristics of middle school students academic stress susceptibility the and explore the relationship between middle school students academic stress susceptibility and academic stress and personality. The conclusions of this study are as follows:1) Middle school students academic stress susceptibility is a four-dimensional structure of the system, including family atmosphere, teacher-pupil relationship, learning attitude and social-evaluation.2) Middle school students academic stress susceptibility questionnaire has good reliability and validity, conforming to the composite psychometric requirements. It can measure the characteristics of middle school students academic stress susceptibility effectively.3) Middle school students academic stress susceptibility is at the middle level, and the overall in good condition. The results show that different gender and origin reach have the significant difference of middle school students academic stress susceptibility.And key school and graduating class two variables have interaction on academic stress susceptibility.4) Academic stress susceptibility and personality of middle school students can be used to predict the academic stress,and personality plays the partial intermediary role between academic stress and academic pressure susceptibility.
