Stress susceptibility is a personality trait that is sensitive to pressure stimuli in the environment.In the past,the related researches were paid more attention to the structure and function of specific disease susceptibility that in the field of mental health,disease and personality,such as depression susceptibility,anxiety susceptibility,etc.After deeply understanding the mechanism of specific disease susceptibility,it was found that there is another important factor was called ‘stress susceptibility' between stress and disease.The concept connotation of stress susceptibility and its mechanism of action can be further explored to further define stress,personality and disease.Relationship,that is,external stressors(such as life events)should first act on stress susceptibility,and promote the individual's stress level,which leads to maladaptation and further triggers the development of physical and mental diseases under the susceptibility of specific diseases.The college students,who are in the critical period of self-identity development,are faced with coping problems from various stress events such as academics,interpersonal,adaptation,and career choices.Their physical and mental health and stress levels need our attention,from stress,Analysis of the status quo and mechanism of stress susceptibility of college students from the perspective of the relationship between personality and disease,which helps us to clarify the main factors affecting the stress level and physical and mental health of college students,as well as the specific role of each factor,and screen for mental health education.Investigate the susceptible group,provide corresponding evidence for prevention work,and provide theoretical guidance for the consultation intervention process.This article will explores the problems that we mentioned through the following four studies.In the first study,In the first study,the content and structure of the stress traits of college students' stress susceptibility were further explored and verified,and the official version of the University Student Stress Susceptibility Personality Vocabulary Scale was formed.On the basis of Study 1,Study 2 analyzes the current situation,distribution characteristics of college students' stress susceptibility personality,and thedifferences in various demographic variables.Study 3 used the “ Adolescent Life Events Scale”,“College Students' Stress Susceptibility Personality Vocabulary Scale”and “Pressure Response Questionnaire SRQ” to conduct a questionnaire survey on1243 college students to explore the relationship between life events,stress susceptibility and stress response.To further clarify the function of stress susceptibility personality in the process of individual stress development and physical and mental health damage.Study 4 uses the point detection experimental paradigm to confirm that students with high stress susceptibility levels have priority attention to stress stimuli from the perspective of attention bias.It is the pressure susceptibility that leads to more pressure source information entering the individual information processing system,resulting in higher levels.The mechanism of stress sense;Study 3 and Study 4 are all specific mechanisms(processes)on how stress susceptibility of college students affect individual stress(stress response)levels.The specific research results are as follows:(1)The structure of college students' stress susceptibility personality consists of two factors that are Sensitivity and Vulnerability.(2)The susceptibility of college students to stress,the status of life events and total stress,and the status of stress response are generally at a moderately low level.At the same time,college students' life events,stress susceptibility and stress response scores and their dimensions have different significant differences in demographic variables such as gender,place of origin,grade and major.(3)Relevant research and regression analysis showed that life events were significantly positively correlated with stress susceptibility and stress response of college students.Stress susceptibility and stress response were also significantly positively correlated;and life events had significant susceptibility to stress and stress.Predictive power and stress susceptibility have significant predictive power for stress response.(4)Analysis of the mediating effect of stress susceptibility between life events and stress response shows that the mediating effect of stress susceptibility is significant,life events can directly affect the individual's stress response level,and stress susceptibility can also act on stress response.Produced,the pressure susceptibility of college studentsis a partial intermediary between the relationship between life events and stress response.(5)Point detection experiments show that college students with high stress susceptibility level have significant attention bias on stress event related information,and it is easier to notice pressure stimulation related information than low stress susceptibility individuals;therefore,stress susceptibility responds to individual stress.The mechanism of influence of level,that is,the tendency of college students with high stress susceptibility level to have priority attention to stress source related information,resulting in more pressure source information entering the individual information processing system,resulting in Higher levels of pressure response.
