This article is focused on the Chinese figures of speech which is a widely used, most important and typical rhetorical device. Choosing the Korean Chinese teachers which is crucial to the Chinese language promotion in Korea in primary and secondary school of Korea as the respondents, this thesis uses the questionnaire that consists of 23 questions to investigate the acquisition of Chinese figures of speech from the recognition of the sentence, the use of the words and the knowledge of typical sentence pattern of Chinese figures of speech. Through counting, contrasting and synthesizing the 54 valid questionnaires, it is found that the deep relationship between China and Korea is beneficial to the teachers for learning and using the Chinese figures of speech. However, lack of systematic knowledge on Chinese rhetorical device as well as the cultural differences between the two countries caused some barriers to the teachers when they were using the Chinese figures of speech. According to this situation, the investigator stresses the significance of strengthening the learning of Chinese figures of speech among the Korean Chinese teachers in primary and secondary school of Korea, and comes up with some teaching strategies like comparing the difference of thinking between the Chinese and the Korean, enlightening the students with Chinese as the center language, and teaching from easy to complex and step by step. At the same time, there are some methods to improve the teaching of Chinese figures of speech, such as practicing repeatedly, correcting the errors, games and using the multimedia during practical teaching.
