In an era of internet information explosion, all kinds of valuable resources gather in the Internet, as well as the false bad information. In order to use the Internet more effectively without the impact of false information, each of us need to master the ability of identifying the authenticity of the information. The contemporary college students will be the national future and the backbone of the state.Their ability to identify the network information can not be ignored. However, the survey of the college students of five universities in Chongqing found that the discrimination ability of the network information of contemporary college students is not optimistic. So they need to acquire this capability immediately.However, there is no specialized research on the ability of discriminating network information. In this case, this research puts forward the concept of network information discrimination skills and constructs the theoretical model. In order to better cultivate this ability of the college students, this research gives the information about the operational definition of this ability, construct the training model of it, which has been applied on the platform, based on the survey of college students.This network course platform has been built by redeveloping the Moodle Platfrom. Its function covers the requirements of the training model. And there are different kinds of thematic resources on this platform, which include course content, discussion, evaluation, reflection and feedback, based on the training model.In order to examine the application results of training model, this research constructs questionnaire of network discrimination skills of college students, analyses the reliability and validity of the questionnaire and weeds out the unqualified item. The questionnaire has been used in this research under the premise of high reliability and validity. To the extent possible to guarantee the similar background of the subjects and their enthusiasm to participate in the experiment, the research took the freshman students in Educational Technology of Southwest University for five-month experiment. To analyze the results of the experiment, the research measure the subjects’levels of network information skills before and after they participating in the course platform.Moreover, in order to verify the effectiveness of the network course platform, this research designs the satisfaction questionnaire which has been sent out with the post-test questionnaire. In addition, the interviewing method is also been used in the effect analysis of the experiment.The experiment results show that the subjects’level of network information skills has been improved on the whole. This shows that the design of the training model is reasonable. In addition, most subjects are satisfied with the platform. And they feel the platform meet their requirements in the study. However, the results of the experiment are not good enough for the time that the subjects involved in the platform is not long enough. Besides, some details in the experiment is also need to be improved.
