High school students, as the young students at the age of 15-18, play an important role in the construction of harmonious society.What’s more, they are the future of the motherland.In recent decades,Chinese social modernization process is gradually accelerating.Because of the pressure from parents and studies, they feel lonely and no support.Moreover,they have bad self consistency.Then,they make high school students who are in the critical period of mental and physical development have many psychological problems.If father and other family members can give their children more emotional warmth and understanding, then children can have harmonious mind and what’s more, they can feel much more support and everyone would love to help them.These can make children have health psychology and make them know to appreciate others.This research mainly use the EMBU,SCCS and PSSS to test on 500 subjects who were selected from a high school in Henan Province to study the relationship among father rearing style,self consistency and social support.The result is processed by SPSS17.0.The conclusions of this research are as follows:1.High school students’ father’s rearing style has significant differences in gender,professional,cultural degree of father and fathers’ occupation.The specific differences are as follows: the average score of male high school students is higher than that of female high students in each dimension of the father’s rearing style;the average score of science high school students is higher than that of liberal arts high school students in the emotional warmth factor and excessive protection factor; the average score of high school students whose father’s highest education is high school is higher than those whose father’s highest education is junior high school and primary school in the emotional warmth factor,the average score of high school students whose father’s highest education is junior high school is higher than those whose father’s highest education is primary school in emotional warmth factor;the average score of students whose fathers are workers is higher than those whose fathers are farmers,intellectual and other occupation and is lower than those whose father is cadre in punishment severity factor,the average score of students whose fathers are farmers is higher than those whose fathers are intellectual and take other occupation and is lower than those whose father is cadre in punishment severity factor,the average score of students whose fathers are intellectuals is lower than those whose fathers are cadre and take other occupation in punishment severity factor,the average score of students whose fathers take other occupation is lower than those whose fathers are intellectual in punishment severity factor;2.High school students’ self consistency and congruence has significant differences in gender and specialty.The specific differences are as follows:the score of female high school students is significantly higher than that of male high school students in self consistency and congruence factor and total degree of self harmony;the score of science high school students is significantly higher than that of liberal arts high school students in self consistency and congruence factor;3.High school students’ social support has significant differences in gender and whether the student is a student cadre.The specific differences are as follows:the score of female high school students is obviously higher than that of male high school students in the dimension of other support;the score of students who are student cadres is significantly higher than that of those who are not student cadres;4.Emotional warmth factor of father’s rearing style presents significant negative correlation with self flexibility factor,self stereotype factor and self harmony degree;punishment factor and excessive interference factor present significant positive correlation with self consistency and congruence factor,self stereotype factor and self harmony degree;refusing and denying factor presents significant positive correlation with all the factor of self harmony;overly protective factor presents significant negative correlation with self flexibility factor;5.Punishment factor and refusing and denying factor demonstrate significant negative correlation with family support factor, other support factor and total social support degree;emotional warmth factor presents significant positive correlation with family support factor, other support factor and total social support;excessive interference factor presents significant negative correlation with family support factor and social support;preference factor presents significant positive correlation with family support factor and social support;6.In social support,family support factor, friend support factor, other support factor and total social support degree present negative correlation with self consistency and congruence factor, self flexibility factor, self stereotype factor and self harmony degree;family support factor, friend support factor, other support factor and total social support degree demonstrate significant negative relation to self flexibility factor and self consistency and congruence degree;family support factor and social support present significant negative relation to self consistency and congruence factor;7.Emotional warmth factor,punishment factor and refusing and denying factor of father’s rearing style affect social support through the partial mediation effect of self consistency;excessive interference factor influences social support through the mediating effect of self consistency and congruence.
