Chemistry is a natural science based on experiments, which are the basic characteristics of Chemistry teaching and the most vivid and active form of teaching. Experiments in Chemistry can help the students gain the basic knowledge and skills of Chemistry, motivating their interest, forming scientific research methods and rigorous scientific attitude, as well as enriching their emotional experience. Therefore, experiment teaching is indispensable and playing an important role in Chemistry teaching.However,according to the study conducted by the author about the current experiment teaching, which does not show an ideal result. The study shows that in daily teaching, teaching experiments orally takes up twenty percent of the total experiments teaching, which means “oral experiments, teaching experiments”, and exercise about experiments after class exist a lot. The reason for this mainly due to a lack of knowledge in the value and function of experiments, a poor awareness of experimental innovation, the shortage of innovating skills and strategies in experiments.Therefore, the author choose the videos(sixty items) that won the first prize in the eleventh national innovation competition as samples. By studying the samples, the author summarized area characteristics of excellent works, content characteristics, innovation design and its strengths. Some teachers and experts attending the competition were interviewed. The author summarized the basic strategies of experiment innovation from 9 aspects ranging from the quality of innovators, steps of innovation, contents, chemicals adjustment, control of conditions, equipment design, biochemistry, to application of advanced technology and materials according to the findings and interview.Based on the statistics research and interview research, the essay pointed out the basic purpose of innovative experiments, developing differences and existing problems. Meanwhile, the essay summarized and concluded the basic strategies from nine aspects: the quality of innovators, innovative steps, choice of questions, adjustment of chemicals, condition controlling, and facility designation, comprehension of subjects, new technologies, as well as material transfer.At last, the author applied the theories into practice and carried out the innovating steps in the three topics “Micro Interesting Primary Battery Devices”, “Colorful Silica Gel Preparation”, “NO3—, Discharge Right?” as a result, making outstanding effects on teaching.
