Chemical experiment is an important research method in chemical science,and it is also an important way for students to learn chemistry and conduct scientific inquiry,and has important and unique educational value in the implementation of high school chemistry courses.Chemistry experiment teaching can stimulate students’ interest in learning chemistry,improve students’ sense of inquiry and innovation,cultivate inquiry and practical ability,and then develop students’ core literacy in chemistry.However,the current situation of high school chemistry experimental teaching is not optimistic.Due to the lack of understanding of the educational function of chemical experiments,excessive pursuit of college entrance examination scores,limited experimental resources and other reasons,the teaching of chemical experiments has been weakened to varying degrees in the implementation of high school chemistry courses,and it is not uncommon for teachers to talk about.experiments,blackboard to draw experiments,and students to memorize experiments."General Senior High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition 2020 Revision)" requires that senior high school chemistry courses should cultivate students’ core literacy in chemistry including "scientific inquiry and innovation awareness",and in the implementation of the chemistry course,it is necessary to "learn by doing,use the middle school,and create the middle school".This requires giving full play to the educational function of chemical experiments in the implementation of the curriculum,continuously carrying out innovative reforms in chemical experiments,and improving the quality of chemistry classroom teaching through innovative teaching of chemical experiments.Because of this,this paper conducts research on the related issues of high school chemistry experiment innovation.The first part of the paper expounds the background of the subject research,understands the relevant research and achievements of chemical experimental teaching and experimental innovation through literature research,further expounds the educational value and significance of high school chemical experimental innovation,and provides a basis for determining the research content and ideas of this topic.The second part of the paper first defines the relevant concepts of high school chemistry experiment innovation,then discusses the supporting theory of this topic "learning by doing"theory and innovative education theory,and then analyzes and sorts out the requirements of high school chemistry curriculum standards and chemistry textbooks for experimental teaching,and puts forward the principles and requirements of high school chemistry experiment innovation on this basis.In the third part of the paper,the author used questionnaires and interviews to explore the current situation of experimental innovation of high school chemistry teachers in Jiangsu Province.The results showed that:(1)Most high school chemistry teachers’ understanding of experimental innovation stays at the conceptual level;(2)The main difficulties in teachers’experimental innovation are that they do not have sufficient time to innovate and do not understand the principles and methods of experimental innovation;(3)The most important factor affecting teachers’ experimental innovation is the lack of methodological knowledge and experimental innovation ability of experimental innovation.In the fourth part of the paper,the author takes the works of the recent two Jiangsu High School Chemical Experiment Innovation Competitions as the research objects,and analyzes the research objects from the perspective of topic sources and innovations.The results show that:(1)From the perspective of the innovative form of the participants,the form of teamwork is the mainstay;From the perspective of the composition of innovative personnel,the frontline teachers of middle school chemistry are the mainstay;From the perspective of the section to which the innovation experiment belongs,the content of the compulsory courses is the mainstay;From the perspective of innovative experimental content,the innovation of elemental compounds is the mainstay;(2)At present,the topic of chemical experimental innovation in high schools in Jiangsu Province mainly comes from solving experimental teaching problems;The innovation perspective focuses on the reform and innovation of experimental devices based on safety and green concepts;Reform and innovation of experimental reagents and instruments based on ensuring experimental implementation;Reform and innovation of experimental content based on practical applications;Based on the application of modern technology,the overall reform and innovation of the experimental process.In the fifth part of the paper,based on the survey results of the experimental innovation status of high school chemistry teachers and the analysis results of high school chemical experiment innovation works in Jiangsu Province,the author extracts the general strategies for high school chemical experiment innovation:(1)Improve teachers’ understanding of the necessity of innovation in high school chemistry experiments;(2)Improve the understanding of the subject of chemistry and innovate chemical experiments through multiple channels;(3)Understand the process of experimental innovation and master the methods of experimental innovation;(4)Deeply integrate high school chemical experiment innovation with students’chemistry learning.
