The Constrution Of Open Course Based On Cloud Computing In University For Nationalities

China started "Excellent Course" (EC) and "Excellent Open Course" (EOC) successively, which push forward the reform of higher education. And universities for nationalities took part in constructing open course actively. After ten-year development, however, for universities for nationalities it is not that optimistic in course constructing. So we should find the problems urgently and recommend resolution for them.This thesis summarized the research of EOC, and introduced the present state of the research and development tendency of open education in abroad. Targeted with universities for nationalities, this thesis analyzed course running conditions, including course overall constructions status, course website building, course applying status and so on. Then the writer interviewed course designers of universities for nationalities investigated personnel arrangement, professional background, server construction and operations, through which this thesis summed up the course of the existing problems such as low visiting rate, low quality, low deserved value releasing and high investment.Cloud computing has the advantages of paying according to needs, flexible computing, security assurance and low-cost and etc. which can provide new train of thought in solving the existing problems during constructing EC. This thesis analyzed the important role of cloud computing in saving labor costs, reducing the hardware and software investment, improving quality of EOC. And probed the agreement point between cloud computing’s three models with constructing EOC and explore a new way of constructing EOC in universities for nationalities, which can make course construction more efficiency, operations more stable, less investment. It would be a better opportunity for universities for nationalities to catch up with other regular universities.Sina Cloud Platform is one of the domestic mature commercial public cloud platform. The writer built EOC -Folklore Photography based on this platform, valued its function in promoting EOC construction in universities for nationalities and showed a detailed cloud computing practical model, which will provide reliable foundations for future research.
