Research On Rural Graduates Entrepreneurship Return Home

Since 1999, institutions of higher education enlarge enrollment, the number of graduates keep growing, the college graduates is as high as 6.99 million until 2013. With China’s economic development slowdown recently, the increasing number of graduates, college graduates increasingly severe employment pressure. For the increasingly severe employment situation, government has promulgated some policies to solve the problems of difficult to obtain employment, including policy supporting college graduates to employment or entrepreneurship in rural. Meanwhile, China’s rural areas contains a huge employment resources and consumer market, it provides market opportunities for rural entrepreneurship. In this social context, a part of special group of university graduates-college students from rural areas are choosing to return home business.The reasons college students from rural areas entrepreneurship return home are both "thrust" of employment difficulties in urban and "pull" of opportunities for rural entrepreneurship. But even by the relevant national policy support, students choose their entrepreneurial process is full of difficulties and challenges. In this paper, basing on college students, collecting material with depth interviews.Starting with the socio-economic background of students in today’s difficult employment, depicting students in their hometowns entrepreneurial process and the difficulties encountered obstacles detail and really, and knowing little-known story behind entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs soul feel. Through long-term together with their entrepreneurial university graduates living and interviews, I know that the difficulties of entrepreneurial process including macro-economic factors, social and cultural factors, and including the entrepreneur’s own factors such as own professional quality deficiencies and mental preparation is not enough and so on.In this paper, the research method adopts key-case research that is based on the theory of sociology theory, both in the selection of study case and in the collection of qualitative data, have sought authenticity and integrity. In fact, the paper analyzes the process of students start home business difficulties, but also analysis of the inadequacies of Chinese policies to promoting university graduates rural employment. Meanwhile, the paper thinks how to provide practical helps to university graduates home business in further, and provide full support to entrepreneurial college students from rural areas. This study case of home business college students in W city of Hebei province, it is an innovative case. However, the study may be have some shortcomings because of limit of subjective and objective conditions.
