As economic globalization proceeds, Chinese is becoming more and more popular in the world. At the same time, the rapid development of computer technology is bringing opportunities for Chinese learning. The governments, universities and Internet companies build many websites to learn Chinese, which have attracted many Chinese learners. While the Internet technology and mobile communication technology contribute to Chinese language learning, an increasing number of mobile applications emerge rapidly, which make the learning Chinese on mobile devices possible. Also, the Micro-blog, as a social media tool gives more chances to "micro" Chinese learning. This article studies three modes of learning Chinese in the network environment, which can be helpful to change Chinese teaching in the future.Firstly, this article mainly introduces the research background, the references in this area, the purpose and significance of this study and also the methods to study this topic.Secondly, this article combines the specific examples with theories and then studies three modes of Chinese learning in the internet environment, which based on the Chinese learning websites, mobile devices and micro-blog. Then this article analyzes the theoretic evidences of these three modes, shows the results that the modes of learning Chinese in the network environment consistent with the theory of constructivism, the theories of autonomic learning, informal learning and mobile learning. Then this article discusses the characteristics of the Chinese learners in the internet environment, the roles and the responsibilities of Chinese teachers.Thirdly, this article proposes some suggestions on the basis of these analyses, hoping that it will be suggestive to the Chinese teaching in the internet environment.Finally, the last part of this article is a summary of the innovations and deficiencies which can be served as a reference for the follow up studies.
