The Traditional Classroom Teaching Approach (class-based teaching system) is featured with a teacher speaking in front of the class and students sitting and listening to him/her. It has caused many criticisms from educators for having nearly remained unchanged for hundreds of years. With the development and advances in technology, traditional classroom teaching approach cannot meet the increasing need of the society. Many educators appeal to pay more attention to students’ individualized development, and fulfill the idea of Confucius and Socrates of teaching students in accordance of their aptitude. The flipped classroom is a newly emerged teaching model. It aims to use the modern information technology to break through the sequence of teaching and flip the course information transfer (in class) and knowledge internalization (after class). In other words, in the flipped classroom model, the most significant change is students doing their homework in the class and learning by the video at home. Recently, the flipped classroom had been used widely and achieved good results. Many researches have proved that flipped classroom has promoted and improved students’ learning outcome. With the application of MOOCs and micro-video, flipped classroom will be used widely and deeply. In this study, the author first reviewed the literature of flipped classroom and theoretical basis of "Control-Value" theory. By using the mixed method (both quantitation and qualitative methods), the author explored three questions in this research. First, explore the students’ achievement emotion in flipped classroom. Second, explore the relationship of achievement emotion with self-efficacy, technology acceptance model of flipped classroom and Relevance from ARCS motivation model. Third, explore the relationship between achievement emotion and students’ learning outcome.Through this research above, the author found that design an effective projected- based learning flipped classroom is very essential for students’ learning and teachers’ teaching in flipped classroom setting. At the end of this research, the author put forward a simple designed instructional model for the further research. This projected-based learning flipped classroom model is based on the 9 principles put forward by Kim et al., and extended to 12 principles by the author.
