In social vulnerable groups, there is one group, with anxiety and depression on account for problems in microscopic system and mesoscopic system, occurs in all sectors of society in China. Two purposes of my study:1. Using Crisis Intervention with Rational-Emotive Therapy(RET) to find out how does this group descend to social vulnerable groups by microscopic system perspective and mesoscopic system perspective.2. Putting professional theories and methods into practices of Social Work appropriately to help this group mentioned in my study.Crisis Intervention advocates that Intervention Strategy should begin with 3 categories (Psychology, Society and Environment) to solve problem by different directions, which is the most efficient and important point in Crisis Intervention strategy. Crisis Intervention, however, has its limitations when face psychological problems in long-term anxiety and depression (instead of psychological problems in emergency).Rational-Emotive Therapy(RET) has operability to breakdown work step by step by improving rational and irrational cognitions regarding events and self-analyzing after irrational self-talk of service object. Rational-Emotive Therapy(RET) also has its limitation that it only have a good command of solving inner problem(psychological problem) of service object; regarding outside(social, environmental) problem, it has insignificant effect. With that being said above, for improving pratical effect of my intervention, I chose to use Crisis Intervention with Rational-Emotive Therapy(RET) to accomplish my paper. My intervention strategy, with personal, sincere and empathic attitude, can basically make a mutually-trust atmosphere between object and I, guide object to make responsible behaviors, help him realize the positive tendency of himself, and make him feel self-value. By processing interview, answer sheet and body fitness throughout Crisis Intervention with Rational-Emotive Therapy (RET), service object can already face thyroid diseases with rational attitude to cooperate professional treatment, to plan healthy life program. By negotiating with object’s family and relatives to give him object financial support, he has already moved to a new house. By guiding object’s family to analyze his own self-talking, his family have already learned how to help object out of shadow, to make allowance for his unrational words and behaviors, furthermore, to help object regain spiritual support from his family.
