Internet behavior preference refers to the relatively stable attitude and behavior tendency of the internet users, which is driven by specific motivation in cyberspace and results from the habitual and repeated use of some specific cyber contents via a certain cyber function. Its content and degree are determined by individual motivation and values, which are also connected with individual personality. The general internet behavior preference is normal and healthy, but excessive behaviors will lead to the addiction to the internet. Therefore, there is much practical significance to research the internet behaviors of junior high school students comprehensively, study their thoughts, psychologies, behaviors and values, lead them to use the internet rationally, prevent from the addiction, promote the physical and mental development and improve the healthy personality establishment.This article is designed to research the relationship between the various factors of junior high school students and internet behavior preference, such as the gender, the grade, the studies, family economic conditions, personalities, etc. and explore the ways to guide them to use the internet rationally, strengthen the personality education, psychological education and self-education.
