Research On The Relationship Among Middle School Teachers

The relationship among teachers is an important relationship. However, with the fierce competition and the pressure of making students enter the higher schools, people take more notice of Teacher-student relationship but overlook the relationship between colleagues. Teacher’s job has personality traits and characteristics, so the development of each student cannot achieve without the efforts of all the teachers. The quality of teachers’ colleague relationship effects not only the students’ study and growth, but also teachers and schools’ development. It is very significant for teachers, students and school to research on the high school teachers’ colleague relations.The relationship between colleagues is subtle and intangible. With the development of economy, the relationship among middle school teachers is also changeable. The writer did a research with the sample of W school in D city by questionnaires survey and depth interview, and the inquiry found that most of the middle school teachers have problems and confusion on communication, cooperation, competing and understanding. It seems that the current problems lay in the middle school teacher’s colleague relations. Through the analysis, I found many teachers lack of communication, the main problem is low frequency, not enough depth and sincerity. The main problems of the cooperation is lack of norm and guarantee, the artificial cooperation become a mere formality. The appraisal system is imperfect, undesirable competition increased. Many teachers lack of understanding, the main problem is lack of communication and trust, faulty school system and management style.If we want to promote the relationship among middle school teacher, all in all we have to start with teachers. Hence, first teachers must recognize the importance of the relationship between colleagues. They should have strong interpersonal skills and learn to deal with various problems in the relationship between colleagues. Second, the school need improve and perfect related system, and provides a favorable guarantee for the relationship between colleagues. Third, the whole society should create a good atmosphere, pay much attention to the teachers’ vital interests, and provide an everlasting healthy environment for teachers.
