Since ancient times, the differences of sex have been exsied. Nowadays with the in-depth study, sex role types are classified as four types. This study from the emotional resilience of the variable of gender role types, adding this variable, to explore the relationship between parenting style, emotional resilience and gender role types, in order to improve the college students’ emotional resilience, combined with the gender of participants and promote rational subjects parenting styles provide scientific and effective suggestions. Study in Sichuan Normal University, Chengdu University of Technology and Zhengzhou University students as the research object, the "College Students’ Sex Role Inventory(CSRI-50)", "evaluation of parenting style scale(EMBU, Chinese version)" and "adolescent emotional resilience questionnaire" as the research tool, through random sampling by questionnaire, using the description statistics and other methods, in-depth study of the relationship between sex role types, parenting style and emotional resilience.The conclusions of this research are shown as below:1.The majority of the subjects are androgynous, just a little subjects are pure gender type.2.Whether to have certain influence dimensions of demographic variables only and account for the location of parenting style.3.In these subjects, the overall status of emotional resilience of university students is relatively good, the average score higher than the theoretical value. There was significant correlation in these three variables.4.Masculine and feminine traits between parenting styles and emotional resilience can play an intermediary role and moderating effect.
