The Use And Research Of Learning Transfer Theory In The Middle School Music Teaching

The theory of learning transfer is a theory that one learning affects another learning, also is one of the most important and general procedures during learning. In recent years, the theory of learning transfer is valued by many educationists and psychologists because of its practical meaning for teaching. "Teaching for transfer" is a prevalent slogan in education. Music education is an important part of quality education, and is a necessary part on students’ development. As music teachers, combine the characteristics of music, we study transfer theory to help students build up well cognitive structure, facilitate the positive transfer of students’ knowledge and improve the study efficiency of music. Furthermore, learning the transfer theory is helpful to achieve the goal of quality education which is the ultimate task of music teachers.In this article, the application of transfer theory in music education is discussed from two aspects which are theory study and strategy study. In;theory study, we arrange and study the research of transfer theory at home and abroad, discuss its transfer law in music, and analyze the learning transfer factors of music study. In strategy study, basing on the theory of learning transfer, we combine the characteristics of music subject, students and practical level in middle school, and come up with the teaching strategy that can improve the ability of learning transfer of music. Two teaching cases have been designed based on the teaching strategy of learning transfer. This article aims to create the transfer strategy for music education in middle school, enrich the class, improve students’ interest of studying music and help them become lifelong learners to music by means of exploring the theory of learning transfer in music subject.
