The Study Of Higher Vocational Colleges Characteristic Development Under The Premise Of Scientific Positioning

It’s the indisputable fact that Higher Vocational Education promotes the popularization of Higher Education successfully in China. In recent years, although the scale of Higher Vocational Education is expanding, with the increasing fierce market competition and serious pressure of students, more and more higher vocational colleges have no choice but to explore and establish their own characteristics to seek survival and development in the harsh environment. So characteristic development begins to be accepted by most higher vocational colleges. This is not only the spontaneous development of the market economy, but also the right path of development conformed to the trend of development for its planning.This paper uses the method of literature, comparison, case and so on, to make a systematic study for the characteristics of higher vocational colleges. The Introduction mainly introduces the background and significance, previous studies, ideas and methods of this research, and the limitation and innovation of this paper. Apart from the introduction, this paper consists of five parts. They connect with each other, mutual influence, together constitute a unified whole. The following is the research ideas:At first, this article reviews the development process of China’s higher vocational education, and summarizes its achievements and shortcomings. In discussing the problems about the convergence during the process of running a school, unsound school enterprise cooperation mechanism and little financial support, it attributes that the higher vocational colleges’ positioning and characteristics are not clear and scientific enough. Aiming at the main problems in the development of higher vocational college, it is the prerequisite for the characteristic development to put forward the scientific positioning, while characteristic development is the concrete manifestation. Then, the connotation, the basic contents and influencing factors of higher vocational colleges’ scientific positioning are discussed in detail. After this, it analyses the key factors in the development of higher vocational colleges in our country. Under affirming the characteristic development path selection is the premise of higher vocational colleges’ development, it has a detailed analysis to the meaning, content and significance of the higher vocational colleges’ characteristic development. Then, with the detailed cases to analyses that how these higher vocational colleges do well in the characteristic development. The cases are divided into three categories: industrial structure, similar institutions’ development and institutions’ advantages. Finally, based on the reasonable prediction of the development trends of higher vocational colleges’ characteristics in our country, from two aspects of government and colleges, this article puts forward appropriate policies and advice for higher vocational colleges in China to establish and develop their own characteristics.
