Marriage is one of important contents of Cultural Anthropology. Contemporary China marriage system has provided people with the freedom of marriage, gender equality and the introduction of truly monogamous legal protection. Chinese women do enjoy more abundant freedom of marriage and equal rights, simultaneously, basically realize the life of relying on the foundation of monogamous marriage. However, this kind of institution of marriage will damage the diversity of marriage form. Like child bride marriage form is already unable to survive, but as a part of the culture of marriage, it is very necessary to do some researches about this.With the development of the times, nowadays the definition of child bride has been blurred to many people. Young generation may have heard of this strange noun from the elder, but they simply associate it with "poor", "sad", "evil mother-in-law" In fact, through in-depth research, the author concludes that the type of child bride is of diversity, and the social and cultural background of the formation of child bride marriage is also different. Each child bride has her own unique history. In a nutshell, child bride in the social and historical existence is inevitable.This research is a case study. The site of the study is a natural village --Nan Ying Cun in Feixi County Hefei City. The method of this research mainly adopts "field work" and "literature". The research object is a child bride who is the author’s relative. The author uses the life history as a clue with in-depth field survey, and collects a large number of first-hand information. The main purpose of this research is to analyze the life experiences and personality of the child bride, the conflict of in her own history, the function analysis of child bride role.This research mainly consists of four parts:the first chapter is the introduction part.First, it gives a general description on the reason of choosing the topic and the research significance elaboration, gives a review and comment of the related domestic literature, and mainly collects materials from the perspective of research on child bride marriage. Knowing the present situation of related domestic research and comparing the differences and the innovation content with past studies is to make a explicit directions on theoretical and the practical significance of this new research; Secondly, make a simple introduction about the structure frame and research method of this study. At last, the author thinks that the historical evolution of child bride should be also discussed indispensably.The second chapter is an overview of the investigation point of the field about its natural condition and the basic situation of the village, including geographical location, geographic environment, climate condition, the village economic conditions, the composition of population and family structure, village customs etc..The third chapter uses deep description method to describe the first-hand materials collected by case study, which is the main part of this research. This chapter adopts the novel type language and is in the presentation of the interviewers’ oral form. At the same time, the author accords to the time sequence, from the birth of the case to today. The main content includes the analysis of research object’s family situation, the child bride’s two life field--the original family and adoptive families which describe the economic status, social status and connection of the two families. Secondly, analyze on the structure and kinship of the adoption family and make a pedigree chart so as to clear the position of the research object in the family. Finally, describe the phenomenon of folk culture in the life history of the bride in depth.The fourth chapter mainly includes three aspects:the relation between the experience and individuality of the child bride;the conflicts in the life history of the child bride; the analysis of the role of child bride from a functional perspective.
