The culture in university history is an effective carrier for universities to educate students through culture.The realization of the function of educating people in the history of the university is conducive to the smooth development of ideological and political work in universities.Since the party ' s 18 th National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly raised the importance of firm cultural confidence on major occasions.“Without a high degree of cultural self-confidence and without cultural prosperity,there will be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.” This is because culture,as the most fundamental and core spiritual soul of every nation,accumulates the most profound spiritual pursuit of a nation.Only by paying attention to the inheritance and innovation of a culture can a nation stand in the world of nations.University culture is an important part of the advanced culture of the society.The university history culture reflects the history of the development of a university culture.It accumulates the deepest historical heritage and cultural spirit of a university since its establishment,and uses the history of the university to cultivate people.At present,it is of great significance for us to educate people through culture and continue to adhere to the road of cultural self-confidence.The "Opinions on Further Strengthening and Improving Ideological and Political Education for College Students" clearly states: "College culture has an important educational function."
