Vision of new curriculum, national history course standard put forward a three-dimensional teaching target, advocates insist closely links with the real life and social development of the new curriculum concept. But, because our country history curriculum content of people's life idea, the lack of the change of lifestyle, makes the student to the sense of distance between history and reality is more and more big. Folk culture is created by people through long-term and inheritance of culture. The strength of the folk custom culture consciousness, a direct impact on a country the continuation of the strength of the spiritual culture and the national traditional culture, heritage, and strengthening. Middle school students are the backbone of the national future and national hope, students'performance in the face of the traditional things are pale and lack of sense of traditional culture consciousness is weak. In such a background, the author try to interpret the folk culture from the theoretical aspects and from the aspect of history classroom teaching practice to analyze the folk custom culture meaning and application in middle school history teaching.From the aspect of theory and practice to explore the application of folk culture in the middle school history teaching, is a comprehensive systematic engineering. Based on the introduction to folk and folk culture, from the Angle of the 3 d object illustrate the importance of folk culture in middle school history teaching. At the same time, combining with the existing research results, attempt to put forward based on the content of the folk culture, the history of press close to life, the life history and reality, guide students to comprehend the concrete, vivid, and real history; To strengthen student's understanding of history, reveal a picture of the vicissitudes of human society. And from the practice level analysis of the teaching material content, explore folk culture resources in everyday life; In history teaching, to cultivate the students' cultural awareness.
