Teachers ’ teaching behavior is not only an important measurement of a kindergarten’teaching quality, but also has a direct impact on children’s learning and development in 5 mainly fields of early childhood.Appropriate teaching behavior could effectively promote children’s healthy growth in early childhood. However,in the current educational situation, there are gaps between teachers’ teaching behavior and that required in the Guideline of 3-6 Years Old Children’Learning and Development.Teachers focus on explaining knowledge, and they rarely listen to the children. They lack variable ways of guide and the educational evaluation emphasizes on results rather than the process. In view of this, and based on practice and in deep observation of teachers’ teaching behavior in art educational activities, this study discusses and analyses the real situation of teachers ’ teaching behavior in art educational activities, points out the influence factors and comes up with advices to optimize teaching behavior.This study applies observational method, interviewing method and documentary method. The study can be further divided into five parts.Part 1: Introduction.Including reasons for doing this study, related concept, foreign and domestic research overview and the theoretical and practical significance of this study.Part 2:Research design.This part introduces the aim and object of this study and details the study methods and the design of the observational tools.Part 3: Analyze study results. By analyzing collected data, the investigator describes teachers’ teaching behavior in art educational activities in Kindergarten Z in 3 aspects: teachers’ teaching behavior, guide and request in practice, evaluation and feedback. The study also compares teachers’ teaching behavior in classes of different age, in different types of art activities, of new and skilled teachers and in different activities.Part 4: Discuss.Based on existing study results and on-spot observation and interviewing record, the study elaborates the characteristics and causes of teachers’ teaching behavior in art educational activities in Kindergarten Z.Part 5: Conclusion and advices.The investigator gives advices to change teachers’ teaching concept, improve teachers’ professionalism, adjust the proportion between kindergarten Teachers and children and improve teachers’ evaluation system...
