The Study On The Cultivation Of High School Students’ Legal Consciousness In The Teaching Of ‘political Life’

Strengthening law consciousness and using legal thinking are the basic qualities for all qualified modern citizens.The importance of which was promoted to a new historical height after the fourth plenary session of the 18 th Communist Party of China Central Committee announced the system of running the country by combining the rule of law with the rule of virtue.High school is a critical period for cultivating students’ law consciousness, therefore, strengthening the cultivation of students’ law consciousness at this stage will create irreplaceable significance and value for the individual students and the future development of the country and the society.As a compulsory politic subject in the high school,the nature and the content in the political life decide its value in the position in cultivating students’ legal consciousness. So the cultivation of the legal consciousness should become a teaching target in the political life, and should offer help to legal construction.Based on a careful analysis of the current teaching activities in the political life,I found some phenomena exist in the teaching of the political life,such as paying too little attention to cultivation of students’ citizen consciousness,lacking available legal activities for students’ participation,failing to analyze or solve problems by law and existing a fragmentation of the legal knowledge system.And the reasons are as follows.The teacher fail to consciously strengthen students’ citizen awareness,use single training method and unable to help students strengthen their cognitive system and also students’ lacking practical application of legal consciousness.So, if you want to cultivate students’ legal consciousness in the teaching of the political life, at first, the high school ideological and political teachers should improve their legal accomplishment.More specifically, China’s Normal universities fully implement the ideological and political education content, middle schools should strengthen the ideological and political teachers’ in-service training, teachers improve their Self-quality and promote the teaching material analysis ability.In practice, the ideological and political teachers should strengthen the cultivation of students’ citizen consciousness, and use proper and various methods in the teaching activities, consider Students’ individual differences to meet the requirement of “three close to”, And follow the objective law of legal education to establish effective classroom.
