The paper aims to provide the effects of circuit practice in university and college PE lessons, which can be mainly reflected in two aspects, firstly, questionaire survey implies that there is an attitude turn towards PE lessons among students; secondly, a change in physical fitness can be shown through physical fitness tests selected from National Fitness and Health Standard.The paper mainly applies literature review, questionaire survey, expert interview and experimentation methods to instructionally intervene the PE class teaching of two experimental classes in Beijing Peili Institute of Vocational Education, mathematical statistics and logical comparison methods are employed to analysis the data collected after the intervention, and conclusions are drawn in the following:1. Owing to its innovative organizational forms, the circuit training methods can both spark the students’ passion for sports and boost the intensity and quantity in physical practice, thus, it enhances the teaching efficiency and improve the students physical fitness.2. Though there is no significant attitude turns for PE lessons among students after an intervention on teaching with the implementation of circuit practice in 12-week PE lesson in the Peili institute, the emotion for sports varies greatly due to the change, which motivates the passion for physical practice among students.3. Cycle practice method of teaching significantly improve the scores in 1000 meter-race, standing long jump, and throwing the medicine ball of college students, but the scores of 50 meter-race, pull-ups and crook before seat body did not change significantly. Although the cycle practice doesn’t improve all the physical fitniss of students significantly, it is more effective.4. It can be safely inferred that the beginning and key points in provoking students’ interest for PE lessons lies in the emotion arousel, the sense of happiness and accomplishment gained in physical activities can boost the passion for PE lessons significantly.Suggestions for further study:1.Due to the limitation of teaching length and experience, the author only made a 12-week study on circuit practice teaching method, the students may get tired of the training as the time goes by, which may affect the teaching efficiency, hence, a further research may be required to study the effect of long-time circuit training.2.The intervention of PE teaching by circuit practice didn’t enhance the students’ overall physical fitness, which may owe to the inappropriate design in the teaching, it is recommended that the alternative or comprehensive teaching methods should be applied if condition permits。...
