Since the actualizing of the Curriculum Standard of Physical Education and Health, each school and P.E teacher made useful attempts and valuable exploration during the teaching on the basis of primary to health and stimulating sports interest. The argument about the P.E reform between middle and small schools has never stopped.The author of this dissertation made survery papers , awatched, analysed some Shanghai middle schools on the scene, DVDs about teaching included, and researched at last. The author discovered two states existed in the P.E lessons, closed and public. The closed P.E teaching paid attention to the students' interest and deal with the requirements of teaching carelessly. Most of the teachers used putting sheep out to pasture, games, traditional ways. The public P.E teaching paid attention to class atmosphere and accomplished every goals. The feeling is a perform not true, splendid not real.The author think when the lessons contain teaching substances, forms of organization, completed procedure, structures, so the basic form of P.E lessons can be built. The basic form of P.E lessons must appear during the P.E teaching process with the important sports skill in the whole fram. As a measure of getting health, systematic study of sports skill has been destroyed, which just be a form no meaning so that essential form of P.E lessons distorted.To get to the bottom of the reason, because of the reform experts' shallow understanding to practicality. The other reasons are the education of attending an examination and the teachers' quality.The conclusion of this dissertation is that we know the basic form of P.E lessons has distorted. Only by suitable usage of teaching substances forms of organization, completed procedure, structures. When we have stabled methods of teaching sports skill, we believe that systematic study of sports skill during the P.E teaching process assure the recover of the basic form of P.E lessons. We can try to use the form of large P.E lessons to change the bad stats of P.E lessons from the book of Zhang Hongtan.
