Sports Elective Course is a diversified curriculum for non-sports specialty students to engage in, which provides the "three independent" in the form of students to achieve the best combination of physical and curriculum system. So far, most of our colleges and universities to carry out a large number of different types of sports elective classes, the paper on the basis of the different options on how it affects the body class shape, function and quality indicators of university students, and then set the options for a reasonable course and exercise science, and ultimately achieve the purpose of physical exercise college students. In this paper,2011 male and female students of North China Electric Power University, North China Electric Power University for DanceSport undertaken, tennis, basketball, badminton, martial arts and other elective classes to study. By experimental methods literature, mathematical statistics and so on, different sports elective course college students before and after the change after a year of after-school options for statistical analysis, the following conclusions:1. Different types of Sports Elective Courses Students can improve physical fitness, the impact of various types of college students body mass index were any significant differences, specifically in the dance, volleyball, tennis, badminton, martial arts fitness of college students on a more significant, basketball, aerobics impact more significant bodily functions, table tennis, fitness and physical function are larger impact.2. Sports Elective Courses helps improve overall physical fitness level of the students ’conditions, bul there are significant differences in the effects of different Sports Elective Courses Students of the same body mass index.3. Press the right physique class different options to promote weight gain help projects tennis elective classes; for larger projects to improve lung capacity boys basketball elective classes, while girls are better project dance, aerobics, tennis and other elective classes; Flexility better impact on the project has dance, martial arts elective classes; a greater impact on the standing long jump indicators for badminton, volleyball and other elective classes. Greater impact on grip strength index for badminton, tennis, table tennis and volleyball elective classes.4.
