The Students’ Sports Elective Course is a part of the school physical education,which is the guiding ideology of "health first" and "people-oriented", which is in the "National College Physical Education Curriculum Teaching Guidelines" It produced on the basis of. Now the rapid development of society, school sports should also advance with the times, and make the appropriate countermeasures in accordance with the development of the times. University of Physical Education Students enter society as the last school physical education curriculum, it should firmly grasp the physical and psychological needs of college students, and students to grasp the interests, knowledge and skills by teaching sports to master the method of the independent exercise of their Sports provide theoretical and technical support into the community after further lay the foundation for lifelong physical.The idea of Optional Sports Course is to make students according to personal interests and hobbies to choose different items of physical education, the student body will have a high degree of autonomy and the right to choose. However, the actual conduct sports elective course is not easy, college students enthusiasm for sports elective course still lacking. It turns out that PE Elective Courses still need more research and development. So on and so on College Students’ Sports Elective Course Elective motivation and Sports Elective Course of Knowledge and attitudes survey,college students to promote the harmonious development of body and mind, to promote sustainable development of university sports elective course teaching is important.This study literature, interviews, questionnaires, observation, mathematical statistics and logical analysis of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Physical Suzhou University and interviews with teachers, Suzhou University Sports Elective Course in quizzes observation of Suzhou freshman sophomore year 500 students conducted a questionnaire survey on the part of students in the class for a return visit, to understand the situation in Suzhou University to carry out sports elective course, thesituation students’ Sports elective Course elective motivation.Through systematic research and analysis, concluded that:1. Suzhou University Sports Elective course in sports to meet the basic needs of the student movement, but some by many students like sports enough to carry out, such as hip-hop; school grounds equipment is not able to fully meet the needs of the student movement as a whole; elective in the form of online course selection, but did not like the course depending on the number of sports to set the number of courses.2. Soochow University Students’ Sports Elective Course mostly welcomed, Sports Elective Course of Understanding which had been lacking. Some students at the school elective courses and selected sports poorly understood. Schools of Sports Elective Course of propaganda and explanation work to further strengthen the concrete.3. Students’ Sports Elective Courses in Suzhou University elective internal motivation majority. College boys than girls are more intense internal motivation,external motivation of girls than boys are more intense. Students of different gender sports option class internal elective motivation as a whole has significant difference, the obvious difference is their ability, skills, learning their own needs and fitness, the difference is very obvious is interest, social and bring happines4. Different college students’ Sports options in Soochow University have significant differences. The difference is obviously the curriculum assessment and teachers, the difference is very obvious is the honor status, peer influence, site equipment, sports items and credit requirements.5. Suzhou University of University Students’ Sports Elective Course Elective motivation although the overall difference is not obvious, but with significant differences in the elective external motivation. The difference is mainly reflected in five aspects peer influence, curriculum assessment, teachers and the impact of credit requirements. Freshman sophomore larger portion elective extracurricular sports options motives more intense weekly exercise frequency also declined.
