With continuous development of science and technology, it brings huge economic benefits for human beings, the at the same time, it makes the energy crisis, and the global problems worse, for example population growth, environmental pollution. People gradually become aware of importance of the basic education to solve global problems. The affective teaching, as a comprehensive subject of geography, plays an important role. Teaching materials on the infiltrating of affective teaching should be reformed as well. However, both the course teaching process and teaching material pay more attention to knowledge less on affective infiltration. This thesis will analyze the advantages and characteristics of affective teaching infiltration in "Scientific Explorer" series of textbooks, in order to provide reference and enlightenment for junior high school to implement emotional attitude and values and optimize of the teaching of new geography curriculum.This paper will focus on the mainstream science of junior high school in the United States, the "Scientific Explorer" series of textbooks,take all-round development of human being of Marxism and the cordiality of knowledge and thought in pedagogy as the instruction, base on the interview and investigation, assume literature review, teaching material analysis and comparative study for methods, analyze the components and function of the emotional attitude and values, combine with the characteristic columns such as "inquiry activity", "the images", "case analysis" and so on,summarize the features of emphasis on interests cultivation, and patriotic sentiment in geography textbooks of junior middle school of the United States; sum up the characteristics of the guidance of right learning attitude, the cultivation of optimistic attitude towards life and scientific truth-seeking attitude according to the characteristic columns, "the subject of this chapter ", "family", "skill experiment", "language arts" and so on; make a summary of the features like advocacy of global concept and harmonious relationship between man and nature and education on disaster infiltration in geography textbooks of junior middle school of the United States according to the characteristic columns such as "science" and "safety regulations", "scientific writing".The infiltration of affective teaching in "Science Explorer" of the United States science textbooks will be of great significance in perfecting geography textbooks writing for junior high school of China, promoting the emotional attitude and values to achieve enlightenment of teaching goals, such as pre-class experiments; flexible picture layout to enrich the sense of beauty for the textbook; detailing experimental process to form the habit of science inquiry; selecting life-close cases to strengthen the understanding of harmony; increase of experimental and enhancement of self-protection consciousness, etc.
