It takes ten years to grow trees, but a hundred years to rear people. Education is the foundation. Liang Qichao, a modern political activist and an Enlightenment thinker of China, once said that what you’ve learned in your childhood determines your entire life. Since the reform and opening up, China’s seen a rapid development of early childhood education. But in rural areas, preschool education is still in the initial stage, leaving many things to accomplish. Early childhood education in rural areas is the beginning of the whole of the basic education. The quality and level of it’s development is not only related to the quality of basic education in rural areas, but also affect the fairness of early childhood education in both urban and rural areas. Education resources is one of the human social resources. Broadly speaking, educational resources includes teacher resources, curriculum resources and financial resources. Curriculum resources are an indispensable part of educational resources. Kindergarten curriculum resources affect early childhood education directly or indirectly. It helps to achieve the education goals and to promote early childhood development factors. The quality of kindergarten curriculum resources affects the quality of early childhood education. Kindergarten Education Guidance Program(Trial) clearly stated that kindergartens should work closely with families, communities, and the interact with primary schools, working together to create favorable conditions for the development of children.Sichuan Province and Chongqing are the examples of how cities influence large rural areas in southwest China. From the traditional regional perspective, Sichuan and Chongqing are within the Sichuan Basin. From the historical and cultural background, the two humanity origins are indivisible and contact a lot. Sichuan Province has a large agricultural population, whose economic development is lagging behind and the gap between its urban and rural areas are big. Chongqing is China’s youngest municipality, which is an example of how cities influence large rural areas, and the urban and rural economic structure are highlighted. Thanks to unique geographical reasons, the rural areas in Sichuan and Chongqing do not enjoy high-quality early childhood curriculum because of the increasingly difficult problem of allocating education resources. Due to regional limitations and other reasons, the development of early childhood education in rural areas can not meet its own development. Early childhood education in rural areas has always been a bottleneck in the development of the entire preschool education. Slow development, poor running conditions, unstable teachers sources lead to the irrational allocation of resources in rural areas, which greatly affects the overall development of the entire preschool education.This paper attempts to explore the configurations of rural kindergarten curriculum resources from the perspective of curriculum resources. Research from the status to the measures carried out by the literature, interviews, questionnaires and physical analysis of curriculum on allocating resources in the rural areas in Sichuan and Chongqing kindergartens, analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the findings on allocating resources in the rural areas in Sichuan and Chongqing kindergartens, and make practical recommendations accordingly to promote the rational allocation of program resources. At the same time, this research on preschool curriculum helps to promote the rational allocation of resources in the central and western regions. It should be pointed out that preschool education is divided into two stages: infant education(birth to three years old), and early childhood education(three to six). Early childhood education refers to the education for children aged from three to six. And this study focuses on the kindergarten education of early childhood education.
