Construction Of Professional Ethics “IDD” Culture System In Higher Vocational College

As a type of higher education development, higher vocational education undertakes the mission of cultivating first-line talents with high skill for production, construction, service and management. Cultivating a batch of higher vocational college graduates who can start working as soon as possible with high professional skills and professional ethics has become a problem for every high vocational college to face. As the main base to transport professional talents, it is necessary for higher vocational college to cultivate higher vocational graduates with mature value orientation and moral concept. Therefore, it is imperative to strengthen the construction of professional ethics in higher vocational colleges.Under the time background that society has higher requirements for professional ethics of the employed persons, nation requires vocational college to overall improve the quality of talents training, and there is difference between the requirements for professional ethics of the employed persons and the cultivation of students professional ethics, firstly, this paper gives a definition to the conceptions of ethics and professional ethics, analysis the characteristics of tourism major’s professional ethics education at home and abroad, and make a comparison from aspects of training target, training mode, etcetera.Secondly, combined with the characteristics of higher vocational students, we make questionnaires to investigate the professional ethics status of campus students and graduates in higher vocational colleges. Through performing questionnaire survey and individual interview to teachers engaged in cultivation of professional ethics, and making an investigation on professional ethics status and problems of students in higher vocational colleges from the view of various employing units, this paper discusses the progress and main existing problems of professional ethics education in higher vocational colleges, and analysis reasons of the problems from the view of individual factors, educational factors, social environment, family environment, etc.Then, taking students as main research object, this paper puts forward construction of professional ethics “IDD”(namely the English abbreviation of Integrity, Dedication and Duty) culture system in higher vocational colleges,and introduces the intension and construction method of the three main contents in this system—Integrity Education, Dedication Education and Duty Education.At last, this paper puts forward the realization way of professional ethics “IDD” culture system to individual student from three aspects: improving their own quality, constructing overall knowledge system and cultivating strong comprehensive ability; the realization way of professional ethics consciousness “IDD” culture system for college to cultivate students from three aspects: curriculum system reform, teaching method and teaching environment; the realization of professional ethics consciousness “IDD” culture system for enterprise to cultivate students under the mode of “combining learning with working” from three aspects: pre-job training, “passing on experience” and continuing education.Through the study, this paper aims at constructing professional ethics system and method in higher vocational college which accord with the requirements of various industries, the characteristics of higher vocational education and the requirements of talents training target, and finding the combination point of talents needed by various industries and talents training in higher vocational college from the view of professional ethics. The construction of professional ethics culture system provides some theoretical guidance and practical basis for developing professional ethics education which is suitable for professional characteristics, and playing a good promotion effect for higher vocational colleges to cultivate the employed persons with good professional ethics.
