The Research On Parents’ View Of Young Children’s Toys

Family is not only the first school, but also is the lifelong school to everybody. Parents are the children’s first teacher who spend a lot of time to take care of their children and who have the chance to influence children by their thoughts, behaviors and attitudes.The toy is an important part of the family education and is also an effective method for parents to educate children.The toy is the first "textbook" for children to explore the world. Parents’view of toys directly links to children. Therefore, it is necessary to study parents’views of toys.On the basis of related domestic and foreign achievements, this research will survey parents’view of toy and analyze the results by the means of questionnaire and interview. The results of this research are stated as blow:1. Most of parents ignore the home-made toys and substutite toys.2. The majority of parents hava cognitive bias of the value of toys.3. Most of parents neglect their instructive effects on children.According to the survey, the research puts forward five suggestions to deal with the above-mentioned problems and to help parents to get correct view of toys.1. Strengthen the cooperation between parents and kindergarden to make full use of their two abilities.2. To carry out the parent education activites to educate parents.3. The government should supersize the market and the toys’ safety.
