A Study On The Toy Views Of Parents Of Minority Children In Southeastern Chongqing

Toys are the necessities of children’s lives.They naturally attract children,delight their hearts,develop their abilities,and promote their cultural identity.As a supplier of family toys,parents of young children have a direct impact on the possession,use,and management of children’s family toys,and indirectly affect the development of children’s cognition,society,and body.Existing studies have mostly investigated the toy outlook of parents of children in urban areas,but have not paid attention to the toy outlook of parents of children in villages and towns.Research on the toy outlook of parents of minority children is even rarer.Based on this,this study takes the parents of ethnic minority children in Southeast Chongqing as the survey object,uses questionnaires and interviews to conduct an in-depth investigation of the status quo of the toy outlook of the parents of ethnic minority children in Southeast Chongqing.Analyze,summarize and summarize the main factors that affect the view of children’s toys in the homes of ethnic minorities in Southeast Chongqing,and finally put forward relevant suggestions based on various practical theories.This study uses SPSS21.0 to collect 400 valid questionnaires for descriptive statistics and chi-square test,and obtains a large sample of data on the toy view of parents of minority children in southeastern Chongqing,and uses Nvivo12.0 to interview 18 parents of minority children in southeastern Chongqing.Coding and analysis of the interview data to understand the status quo and influencing factors of children’s parents’ view of toys.Finally,through the analysis and combing of the survey results,it is found that there are the following problems in the toy view of the parents of ethnic minority children in southeast Chongqing: First,they do not fully understand ethnic toys,and ethnic toys are rare in the family;second,they pay too much attention to the educational function of toys and ignore them.The role of toy culture inheritance;third,there is a single understanding of the place where toys are used,and children are restricted indoors;fourth,too much attention is paid to the "correct" play of toys,ignoring the subjectivity of children;fifth,the parents of township children’s understanding of toys There are deficiencies with views.With the help of Bronfenbrenner’s theory of human development ecology,the factors affecting parents’ toy outlook are summarized and refined: from the micro to the macro system,the parents’ own educational concept and personal background,the toy outlook of family members and the economic situation of the family are included in turn.The surrounding environment of the family,the information and toys provided by the toy market,the social and cultural environment.Through the analysis and combing of the survey results,the toy outlook of the parents of ethnic minority children in southeast Chongqing has the following problems:first,ethnic toys are rare in the family,and their understanding of the category and role of ethnic toys is incomplete;second,too much emphasis is placed on the educational function of toys.Ignore the role of toy culture inheritance;third,have a single understanding of the place where toys are used,and restrict young children indoors;fourth,pay too much attention to the "correct" play of toys and ignore the subjectivity of children;fifth,parents of township children have a better view of toys difference.With the help of Brown’s distribution of Renner’s human development ecology,summarize and refine the factors that affect parents’ view of toys from micro to macro system,including parents’ own educational concepts and personal background,family members’ view of toys and family economic conditions,family surroundings,toys Information and toys provided by the market,social and cultural environment.In response to the problems found in the research and combined with its influencing factors,this research puts forward eight suggestions: First,change the understanding of the value and function of toys.Second,change the understanding of the place where toys are used.Third,respect the subjectivity of children and change Understanding of the way toys are used.Fourth,pay attention to ethnic toys and tap their ethnicity.Fifth,the toy market should strengthen supervision and expand the channels for parents to receive information about toys.Sixth,improve the quality of toys,and enrich the types of toys for parents to buy.Seventh,protect and train ethnic toy craftsmen,and promote the inheritance of ethnic toy culture.Eighth,Open the museum of ethnic culture to increase the awareness of parents.
